Our HP brands allow us to print from MacOS based computers using wireless or USB based connections. All HP printer models support all versions of macOS like Mac Os X Servcer 1.0, Mac Os X 10.1 to Mac OS X 10.12, Mac OS X v10.10 Yosemite, v10.9 Mavericks, v10.8 Mountain Lion, v10.7 Lion, and v10.6 Snow Leopard.
How to connect your printer to a network?
Go to playstore or trusted website and search Apple Software Update.
Search Apple Software Update and update HP Printer driver and other printer software for your MacOS system
Ensure that your printer power cord is properly connected with a power socket.
Power on the printer and connect the printer with the corresponding computer.Connection between the printer and MacOs computer is described later.
In an Apple menu, click on System Preferences
Click an option Printers and Scanners.
In Printer and Scanners, list of available printers are displayed in a printer list.
Click to continue.
Now your printer and MacOs are ready to print
Give print jobs easily and enjoy it.
When your printer is not in list:
If the printer is not listed in the printer list, go to an Add printer and scanner.
Select your printer in the add printer and scanner.
In Printer using box, select your printer name.
Download and install the printer software from the menu.
Now your printer is installed and ready for printing.
How to connect the printer to the Network?
Go to Apple setup to select Network Menu.
Touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
Ensure that you remember name (SSID) and WEP/WPA password of your network.
Choose your wireless name from a list of networks and enter corresponding password.
Now your printer is connected with the network.
You can perform a test report to confirm it whether your printer is working properly.
Note: Your printer driver is automatically installed and updated when you update a Windows software without separately installing the printer driver for Windows separately. Just go to Apple menu, select software update, choose software update and select install.
